Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures staff planning, recruitment, induction, development, appraisal, and performance management, and contract termination are in line with HR policies and procedures and the labor law;
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance;
  • Handle vacancies announcements and follow-up the timely collection of applications;
  • Maintain and update personnel files in line with the HR guidelines;
  • Ensure staff insurance, pension and other requirements are fulfilled in a timely manner;
  • Conduct periodical training needs assessment and apply for a budget for implementation;
  • Handle staff leave management and ensure a timely utilization is in place;
  • Coordinate the overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the organization;
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital;
  • Coordinates activities such as special events, meetings, travel, training, and staff gathering/retreat;
  • Shortlist and screen applications as per the requirement set for the position including conducting of background and reference check;
  • Perform other duties assigned and delegated by the Operation Manager


Academic qualification

  • Degree in Management, Human Resource Management or related fields

  • Excellent communication and administration skill
  • Excellent  inter and Intra-personal communication skill
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented and well-organized
  • Excellent knowledge of Ethiopia Labor Law
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making aptitude

Years of experience:

  • 2 years of experience in Human Resource Management field
