Job Description
Job Summary: The business development manager, informs others about company products and services and acts as the point of contact for new clients and their assigned existing clients.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
- Oversee the process of business development within the company to promote its longevity;
- Communicating with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions to their problems;
- Developing and presenting proposals customized for each client’s specific business needs;
- Create more promotion ideas for the sales volume and relationship with existing and new clients;
- Conduct training and mentorship to other staff and offer them technical skills to improve sales;
- Work on new business generation by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant information;
- Build strong relationships with the existing portfolio and exceed weekly and monthly revenue targets;
- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies;
- Attend meetings, workshops, tradeshows, exhibitions, and conferences to attract existing and new clients;
- Identify opportunities for new business development by following up on leads and conducting research on target clients;
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, forecasting, and maintaining short- and long-term business development plans;
- Help the marketing members develop advertising and promotion programs;
- Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills;
- Performs other tasks given by the Manager as required.
Requirements
Academic Qualification:
- BA Degree in business, marketing, or related fields;
- Master’s Degree is preferred
Skills & Abilities
- Excellent experience in communication skills, both spoken and written;
- Extensive knowledge of marketing strategies, channels, and branding;
- Superb leadership, communication, and collaboration abilities;
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Strong time management, goal-oriented and organizational skills;
- Able to create and maintain long-term relationships with customers
- Active Listener and have a compelling sales personality
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-tas
Years of experience: 7+ years of experience in a similar field
